St. Charles Community College is a thriving comprehensive community college located in historic St. Charles County, a rapidly growing
community within the St. Louis metropolitan area.

The college invites applications for the position of Biology Faculty for Fall 2013. The FT faculty will be responsible for teaching Essentials of Biology (a non-majors course), Anatomy and Physiology, and Human Biology lecture and lab.

A minimum of a Master's degree in Biology or a related discipline is required, Ph.D. preferred. Preferred candidates will have experience teaching at the college level, demonstrate the ability to use technology in teaching, and maintain the highest possible standards in classroom and laboratory instruction and assessment.

Faculty responsibilities include:

  • a 15-credit hour teaching load

Minimum Starting Salaries for 12-13:
Instructor-$38,189; Asst. Professor-$43,635; Associate Professor-$49,123
