Streamline Your Wardrobe and Other Recurring Choices to Save Time

Streamline Your Wardrobe and Other Recurring Choices to Save TimeChoices are great, but we can sometimes boost our productivity by limiting them. Web developer Phillip Franziskus has some ideas for reclaiming time to get work done. One of the chief tips: limit your wardrobe.

Franziskus has found that it becomes easier to focus on important tasks by "killing variables"?recurring tasks that require you to make decisions without being very productive.

Here's our favorite:

The guys from Buffer, Joel Gascoigne and Leo Widrich, have a really cool concept of "minimalized clothes selection". They each own only a handful of T-Shirts and jeans (one in fact!). This makes choosing clothes for the day easy so they can focus on their important tasks right from the beginning of the day. It is described in one of their videos here.

Even if you're not the type to restrict yourself to a few shirts and one or two bottoms, your wardrobe could probably benefit from some streamlining.
